Where To Shop For Your Boudoir Session Part Two:

A while back I posted some info on where to shop for outfits for your boudoir session. So, since this is one of the most asked questions I get when I book a session, I thought I would do a revised version on where to shop for your boudoir session.

You have saved your money & finally have enough to invest in spoiling yourself for a day but don't know where to start for your outfits. First off let me start off by telling you that you do NOT have to spend a fortune on outfits & accessories for your boudoir session.

Ok, now that have taken that huge worry off of your mind, let's talk outfits. When you shop for outfits, it's good if you can take a girlfriend with you that will be COMPLETELY HONEST with you. It's good to have someone that will tell you weather or not the cute little chemise you dying to buy for your session really looks the best for your body type. Stick with outfits that you are comfortable wearing & that flatter your figure. If have certain areas of your body that you are not comfortable with or would like to disguise, go with an outfit that helps to cover that area some.

For instance, if you are not comfortable with your tummy area, a corset or a waist cincher is a good piece of lingerie to buy.

If you are not real comfortable with your legs, a set of black thigh high hose will help to cover a good bit of your legs. Now, on to the good part. Where to shop! It goes without saying that you can always shop at Victoria's Secret, but if you have invested in your session & you are on a very tight budget for your outfits, Victoria's Secret is not always the best place to shop. I used to be a big fan of their semi annual sale, but I was really disappointed in the prices this year. I didn't see that great of bargains compared to their regular priced stuff. I'm sure all of you are familiar with the store American Eagle right? Well, did you also know that they sell lingerie & at very reasonable prices too! Their lingerie store is called aerie. Right now they are running a sale for 50% off clearance prices. They are mostly just bras & undies though, so if you are looking for more than just the basic bra & panty outfit, you will need to move on to another store.

My next place I recommend to shop is Kohls. They have just come out with a new lingerie line called Jezebel & it is super cute & AFFORDABLE!! Plus, Kohls is always sending out coupons when you get on their email list. They have everything from bras & undies to skirts, cinchers & bustiers. If you are more on the curvy size, I would check out Cacique or a site called Hips & Curves. There is a Cacique store here in Memphis located in the Collierville mall.

They both have some great outfits & a lot to choose from. The only downfall with ordering online is that everything is made differently & you don't know how it will fit until you order it & try it on & if it doesn't fit, then you have send it back & lose your shipping fee. You might want to watch the online stores for free shipping promos. That way if you have to send something back, you are not  out double the shipping fee Let's move on to accessories shall we. The main place I tell all of my clients to go for their boudoir accessories is Charming Charlie. They have a wide variety of earrings, bracelets & necklaces to choose from. Last item on my list & one of the most important items is shoes!

One of my favorite & most affordable places to buy shoes is Payless. They have some super cute heels & they wont break your budget. They also have a reward system that you can sign up for to get coupons & points toward more shoes. You can also check out Shoe Carnival. They have some cute styles with some as low as $17!

One other honorable mention for outfits is Macys. They are always running one day sales & you might catch some great deals there. I hope this post helps y'all find some great outfits at great prices. I will pst a few pics & links below of the places I mentioned above.
